The Wood Zone is a forest area located on Westside Island and the location of the hidden village of Knothole.

Background Information[]

  • The Wood Zone is named after one of four Zones deleted from the Beta version of the game Sonic the Hedgehog 2, along with Dust Hill, "Genocide City" and the Hidden Palace Zone. It is speculated that it was meant to be an alternate version of the Metropolis Zone.
