Trevor Burrow the Mole is a Mobian mole and a member of the faux freedom fighter group, the Desert Raiders. In reality, he is an associate of the Midesta Egg Army

History[]

Early life[]

Inspired by the Freedom Fighters, Trevor, Sonar the Fennec, and Spike the Porcupine formed a team of Freedom Fighters at Shamar, protecting it from the Egg Army. (StH: #278)

Shattered World Crisis[]

Trevor and his team later "rescued" Sonic, Antoine D'Coolette, Big the Cat, and Chip from an ambush from the Midesta Egg Army in the Arid Sands Zone. After Trevor and his team drove off the Egg Soldiers, they was greeted by Sonic himself, shocking the young aspiring heroes. (StH: #278)

Appearance[]

Trevor is a large-bodied anthropomorphic mole with purple fur and grayish-peach skin on his front torso and muzzle. He has long fur on his head which he keeps together in a short ponytail. On his wrists are thin blades resembling trowels. He wears white gloves with mint-colored cuffs, a dark gray scarf, black and green shoes, and green shades.

Abilities[]

Owing to his species, Trevor is an excellent digger and can burrow underground at an incredible rate. Combining this with his own strength, he can land powerful blows on his enemies or surprise them from underneath.

Background Information[]

  • Trevor's appearance is a direct reference to Knuckles, also by being the only member of his team to prefer using physical strength. Knuckles was even referred to as a mole before in Sonic the Hedgehog: The Movie, as well as in Sonic Battle(though this was mentioned by Sonic, possibly jokingly).
  • Trevor's shades appear to reference to the shades worn by Kamina from Gurren Lagann. This is further influenced by his digging through the ground in a drilling motion, a common theme in the anime.
  • Trevor is based on a golden mole according to Ian Flynn. BKC
  • It is implied via context that Trevor is blind. An editor's note in StH #279 seems to confirm this.
