Tikal's Prayer is an ancient incantation used by Tikal to nullify the rampaging Chaos' power. The prayer is mostly used to enhance the power of the Master Emerald. It has since only been used by the Guardians and Dr. Finitevus, each with their own different version. The incantation (though by another name) was also used in the games with minor changes.

Uses
Locke used Tikal's Prayer to nullify the effects of Dr. Finitevus' hex to liberate Knuckles from his control and end the threat of Enerjak, but at the cost of his own life. Dr. Finitevus's version allows him to empower himself and others with corrupt Chaos energy. (StH: #169, #183, SU: #12)
Lara-Su of the Mobius: X Years Later Zone was also taught it and used it to stop Tikhaos' rampage. Her Dark Mobius counterpart Jani-Ca utilized it in combination with the Sword of Acorns to drain her father of his Chaos powers, becoming an incarnation of Enerjak. (SU: #8, #28)
