Tornado/Winged Victory[]
I'm confused. Ian says here that the Tornado was the Winged Victory. But I'm merging the articles and I see that Kodos stole the Winged Victory, so it can't be a redesign.Fairfieldfencer FFF 15:17, July 1, 2010 (UTC)
- Well, since it says that the plane has gone by different designs and names, I think it basically means that the core concept is the same - the FF have generally had some biplane around, though it's looked different at times (red, blue, etc.) and IIRC has been heavily damaged and even destroyed. I mean, what was the biplane used in #47 instead of the "Turbo Prop" design? CrazyLea 03:33, July 2, 2010 (UTC)
- Winged Victory isn't the previous plane's original name. The name was first used shortly after Endgame, and it was stated that it had just been renamed to that. They didn't reveal its original name, but going by that and Ian's comment, I think it's safe to say that the its original name was Tornado, and Tails just reused it when he built his own plane. Having a line of planes that go by that name is nothing new or unusual, as the games had many Tornados as well, each one replacing the previous one (Tornado, Tornado II, Tornado III, Tornado-1...). So I think the Winged Victory article should be merged with this one. - Reddez (talk) 03:59, April 18, 2015 (UTC)
