I dunno... while a full-body shot is nice, is "angry and imprisoned" all that representative of the character? CrazyLea 14:20, February 11, 2010 (UTC)
- Shadow's main image is of him smiling. Smiling!Fairfieldfencer FFF 14:28, February 11, 2010 (UTC)
- Scratch that. I just spotted a replacement for Shadow.Fairfieldfencer FFF 14:29, February 11, 2010 (UTC)
- Shadow smiles even in the games... sometimes. Once in a while. Rarely. >> I just think the main images should be a fairly neutral representation of the character. Like, we wouldn't have the main image for Knuckles show when he's half-roboticized and green, you know? CrazyLea 14:53, February 11, 2010 (UTC)
- That's a different situation. That's Knuckles with a different design, this is Sir Charles in his latest one, just in a bad mood. Would you like it if I added a little bit of text to explain why he's in a bad mood? I can do that. All the reader has to do is hover their mouse over the image and it'll come up. I can see how that can come off as sarcasm, so let me just clarify that this is an honest offer.Fairfieldfencer FFF 15:04, February 11, 2010 (UTC)
- Uh, it's not such a big deal. I just think that the main images should give the viewer an accurate overall representation of the character in question. Someone who'd never heard of the character would be given the first impression of an angry, mean-looking individual. That's all. To give a better example, I don't think anyone would consider using the shot of Knuckles begging Hawking on his knees, or Sally slapping Sonic, as main images. CrazyLea 15:21, February 11, 2010 (UTC)

- I think we could have a better image of Sir Charles than him being angry and arrested. Also, I want to address a common misconception, which is people assume since a new artist had depicted the character, that depiction has to be used. As long as a character's appearance is similar enough now as it was 100 issues ago, you can include a scanned pic of them from back then (Flying Frog is an example of this). We don't have to have Yardley-drawn pics just because they're recent for example. - Dimitri the Echidna 00:59, February 12, 2010 (UTC)
Why the separation between pre- and post-Super Genesis Wave versions?[]
It seems odd that you guys got rid of the info on Chuck the Hedgehog from this page, yet all you guys did for Ben Muttski's page is just combine the Muttski and Ben Muttski info together. Maybe we should return it back. --Ashura Blaze (talk) 16:16, November 28, 2013 (UTC)
- My fault. There's been a bit of a debate going on as to how to handle the new histories of the characters in the new worlds, and someone suggested creating separate articles for characters who don't remember the old timeline, since, with no knowledge of their former lives, they have a clean slate. I basically wanted to test it out with Chucks page. I didn't actually create his new page, but I made it so that option is there.
- In hindsight though, creating a second article presents more challenges: for instance it'd look weird in Sonic's profile listing Uncle Chuck twice in the relatives section.
