The current year is 3237. 2 years ago, Enerjak escaped from Mount Fate. Four centuries before that, Enerjak came into being. Using that information, it is easy to extrapolate that the first Nekronopolis was started in 2835 which was the same year if not the same day Dimitri's Dark Tower collapsed on top of him. - So... was the Dark Tower itself Nekronopolis? 'Cause he built it on the "ruins"/former site of Echidnaopolis, didn't he? If so, it couldn't have existed as a "city" before he created it during his first encounter with Knuckles. CrazyLea 17:21, 2 June 2009 (UTC)
- My understanding is that Dimitri enslaved Echidnaopolis with the Mechanauts and erected the Dark Tower outside the city. The Dark Tower collapsed on him due to the Fire Ants digging out its foundations. Four hundred years later, Enerjak emerged from the rubble of the Dark Tower (which was named Mt. Fate) and created Nekronopolis where Echidnaopolis would've been had it not been in a pocket zone. The Dark Tower and Nekronopolis are two different things, though technically Mt. - Yeah, but the first post mentions the "first" Necronopolis. IIRC Dimitri also says "the once and future site of Necronopolis" - implying that he was creating it for a second time. CrazyLea 03:39, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
