We really need to figure out how these Egg Army/DEL pages are going to work.

So I've tried discussing this elsewhere on the wiki, but getting people's attention on stuff like this is a bit difficult, so let's just discuss this outright, shall we?

Why should we be separating this particular DEL and Egg Army? They are the exact same entity with a nameswap. This wiki has an absolute glut of stub pages and useless articles that don't give users any information at all as it is, so what's the point of needlessly complicating things like this? I can understand not consolidating pages like the Eurish chapter, they weren't directly folded over, but the Avalon Egg Army is literally the same entity as the Mercia Dark Egg Legion. What does separating the pages contribute except glut and more problems with trying to link things properly (when we have the pages split we're going to have people linking references to Hood to one article or the other in confusing ways, and it was already a pain in the butt to try and rework all uses of sub-boss "grandmasters" to the right pages)? I don't get it.

We already have precedents for this sort of thing set with the Sub-Boss page encompassing Sub-Bosses, Grandmasters, and Egg Bosses. Can someone explain what the point of keeping these articles separate is, exactly? It's really lost on me.

Early, much???

Not to be a smart-mouth, but...isn't it a little early for this article to exist???  I mean, STH #271 won't be out for another year! STH235SilverLover (talk) 00:55, April 3, 2014 (UTC)

Yeah it is. The reason for its early birth is that there was a bunch of useless articles that have been "candidates for deletion" for a very long time so I tried to convert them into useful articles. The problem was trying to figure out what the article should be converted into.--TheAwesomeHyperon (talk) 01:50, April 3, 2014 (UTC)
