Possible rename?[]
Would anyone be opposed to renaming this article and the related articles from "(future version)" to (IYF Future) or (IF Future)? The current naming scheme is extremely vague and could be confusing to people browsing the wiki's articles casually. This stuff barely appears outside of IYF and Nicole's old backstory, so I don't see any conflict in renaming it. I just want to see if anyone has objections. - Actually I think we can rename it but not to that. Maybe as something like (Alternate Future) or maybe (Doomed Future). It was the future Eggman came from and destroyed everyone. - Those are also really vague. I know it doesn't exactly roll off the tongue, but I proposed IYF because...well, it barely exists outside of the In Your Face special. It's important in that it relates to Eggman and Nicole's backstories...but you only ever see anyone or anything from it in two or three issues. There's nothing substantial enough to give it an interesting name, but it's important enough that it needs to be easily separated.
- I'd even suggest calling it "(Original Future)" except it isn't even that. Since it's part of a weird causality loop it's at least the one or two cycles removed from the very first timeline (ignoring the possibility of horrible destiny shenanigans).
- I don't really care all that much what we call it, but it needs to be clear. Something that doesn't overlap with others [Sonic (Doomed Future) would essentially be the same as Sonic (Dark Mobius) and could possibly confuse users] or seem vague and ill-fitting [Sonia (future version) being the first version of Sonia Acorn].DudestofGuysbackup (talk) 23:12, April 3, 2015 (UTC)
