Miles "Tails" Prower, in a possible future reality, was a former Freedom Fighter, who in his adulthood, settled down with his wife, Mina Prower, and children Melody and Skye Prower. Miles had a falling out with his best friend and surrogate brother, King Sonic at some point during his life, but the two finally patched things up after the fox aided the hero in taking back his throne from Shadow the Hedgehog.

Unaltered Timeline[]
Tails leaving for Downunda
Prior to the future being transformed by King Sonic, Tails was known at some point to have had a falling out with the blue hero, the two having been off speaking terms for three years. Additionally, he seems to have started going by his real name of Miles rather than his old nickname. In addition to this, Tails had also married Mina Mongoose, having two children with her. Compromising between Tails' adventurous lifestyle and Mina's musical career, the two worked out a system in which they alternated years of determining what the family would be doing. When Tails was in charge for a year, they would spend a year exploring the wonders of Mobius, while during Mina's years, the family would settle down in one place, allowing Mina to work on her music. The family eventually moved to Downunda to settle down, with King Sonic refusing to even show up at the air terminal as they departed, though Queen Sally and their two children Sonia and Manik went to see Tails and his family as they left. Altered Timeline[]
Following the timeline altercation by King Sonic, Tails went to Angel Island in an attempt to track down the once great hero, with the aid of Lara-Su, daughter of Knuckles. The former Freedom Fighter had attempted to enlist his old friend, but the older Echidna refused and threatened to place Tails under arrest. Upon discovering the former King in an alley, Tails revealed he had anticipated something happening and managed to prevent Mina and their children from being erased when the timeline was altered. Sonic reconciles with Tails, stating that he could at least repair their friendship if not the timeline. After reminiscing, the trio was placed into custody by Knuckles, an operative of King Shadow and Lien-Da. (StH: #166)
While in an underground dungeon the three discovered Rotor, who'd been severely tortured during his time in captivity. However, Knuckles soon revealed that he knew his daughter would seek out King Sonic and allowed her to, playing along with his role until feeling it was time to act. Now freed, King Shadow was confronted and subsequently defeated by Lara-Su. (StH: #167)
Five Years Later[]
Tails and his family later met up with Lara-Su at the celebration of the "Five Years of Peace," where Tails comforts Lara about her insecurities about this being her first solo mission, saying that if she could defeat King Shadow, she could handle this. Tails and the rest of the Prower family then saw a missile flying towards the royal family, only for it to be destroyed by Silver the Hedgehog. That night, in their hotel room, the Dark Presence knocked Tails out using gas when he mistook them for room service, and he, along with Mina, were held captive in their room. (SU: #5, #6)

Both Tails and Mina were later released by the reformed Dark Presence, and both went to aid in the battle against Perfect Tikhaos, with Tails saving a dazed Lara-Su from Tikhaos' attack. He, along with the other fighters, helped clear a path for King Sonic to attack Tikhaos' weak point, only for Sonic to fail and his children to succeed. (SU: #8)
Personality[]
Tails' desire to do good and protect Mobius hasn't left him with age, though he now goes about it with greater maturity and wisdom. He also has the added responsibility of a husband and a father on his shoulders, and always takes his family into consideration when making a decision.
Appearance[]

The future Tails was first portrayed, in the unaltered future, as wearing a brown scarf, white gloves with brown, fingerless overlays, a brown utility belt, a brown shoulder pouch, and large brown boots. (StH: #138).
In the altered future, his appearance was changed very slightly. His ears are now tufted. He now wore brown aviator's goggles, a red scarf, an armband device on his right arm (which he used to maintain his place in the timestream after events were changed), the same white gloves, but with only brown wrist straps on them, a brown utility belt, and large brown boots. Romance[]
In a surprising turn of events, Tails ended up marrying Mina Mongoose, the two having been friends in their youth. Very much dedicated to his wife and their children, Miles makes every effort to ensure their safety. He and Mina are very close, and are the only couple known to have survived the alteration to their reality with their previous memories and experiences intact.
Abilities[]
It is still unsure whether the future Tails maintains any of his Chaos powers or super forms, but he still has his mechanical talents.
