Super Armor Mega Man, also called Super Mega Man, is the name of the fusion between Mega Man and Rush through the use of the Super Adapter. Mega Man kept this name for his Super Form when he used the power of the seven Chaos Emeralds.
History[]
Worlds Collide[]
After being freed from captivity by Dr. Light, Mega Man combined with Rush in order to increase his power for the final battle. Sonic the Hedgehog, inspired by the fact that this ability was known as the "Super" Adapter, suggested that Mega Man take it one step further, and both of them then drew upon the power of the Chaos Emeralds. Teaming up with Super Sonic, he battled Dr. Wily and Dr. Eggman in their Egg-Wily Machine X, defeating them and using the power of Chaos Control granted by his transformation to restore Earth 20XX to normal. Worlds Unite[]
Mega Man would later take this form again in order to help Super Sonic battle Sigma-3. Although they defeated him, they were ultimately unable to fix the damage Sigma had done to the fabric of reality. Luckily, Xander Payne prevented the cataclysm from happening via time paradox. Mega Man thus found himself back home as if nothing had ever happened. (MM: #52)
Abilities[]
Like most Super Forms, Super Armor Mega Man was virtually invulnerable for the duration of his time in this form. He also possessed enhanced versions of the abilities he possessed either with the Super Adapter or as Mega Man in his usual form, including flight and use of his Mega Buster. He could also combine his powers with Super Sonic's to launch a devastating attack known as the Super Sonic Shot. He also commanded the power of Chaos Control, which allowed him to reverse the effects of the Super Genesis Wave on his universe.
