Star Pointer is a Badnik model developed by Dr. Eggman and a variant of Orbinaut.
History[]
Star Pointers were employed by Eggman during his first invasion of Angel Island, and later deployed as part of the Artika Egg Army's Badnik force. (VG: StH3&K; StH: #276)
Appearance[]
The Star Pointer is similar to Orbinaut with light-grey color scheme and orange line, but it also has four balls spinning around its central sphere that are made of ice.
Abilities[]
The Star Pointers are capable of levitation, though their main abilities lie in their sharp chunks of ice which they can hold in orbit around them. They act both as weapons and a shield, and can be launched at their foes.
Background Information[]
- Star Pointer was based on the badnik of the same name in the video game, Sonic the Hedgehog 3. It was unnamed in the comic, but is considered tier 2 canon by this site's canon policy, as it does not contradict already established canon from tier 1. Additionally, the Post-Super Genesis Wave Timeline has established the events of most of the Sonic games prior to Sonic Lost World as canon.
