Sonic and the Secret Rings is a standalone digital motion comic that came on a CD ROM disc packaged with the video game of the same name exclusively at Target stores in the United States.

Summary[]

Story One[]

"Sand, Spirits and Sonic Speed"

Quotes[]

Key Events[]

Background Information[]

  • When Sonic tells Shahra about his friends and foes back home, he refers to Nack the Weasel as "Fang the Sniper", which was his original Japanese name. The reason for this is unknown.

Reprint History[]

  • A static version of this story was printed in Sonic Select Book 9: The Games. This is the only version of this story to be physically printed.

Continuity[]

  • This stories canonicity to the main Archieverse is debatable. It is believed to have occurred anywhere between the events of StH: #171 and StH: #174, if within the main Archieverse at all.
    • It's worth noting that both the game and comic were released the day before #172, possibly placing it there.
