Pollu was a male Echidna who lived on Angel Island during the Eggman Empire takeover. He was married to Meri-Ca and the two of them had a child together named Desi-Ca.
Pollu had always believed in the Prophecy of the Ancient Walkers regarding the Avatar. Thus Meri-Ca and he asked Knuckles to perform a miracle to restore his daughter's eyesight. Knuckles stated that he could not perform such miracles and thus, Pollu and his family left soon afterwards. (StH: #139)
