The Mystic Cave Zone is a large cave located on Westside Island.

Early Adventures[]
After defeating Dr. Eggman and his assistant, Snively, on South Island, Sonic the Hedgehog chased the two mad doctors down across Westside Island with the Freedom Fighters. They arrived in Mystic Cave Zone after passing through Hill Top Zone in their efforts to defeat the mad doctors, whose goal on Westside Island was major construction and refinements as part of their plan for world domination. From here, they chased them to Oil Ocean Zone. (VG: StH2, SSD: #12)
The Shattered World Crisis[]
- From a reader's perspective, this picks up from where the original Pre-Super Genesis Wave continuity left off.
Knuckles, Amy, and Team Dark enter the Mystic Cave Zone.
Later down the line, Knuckles the Echidna, Amy Rose, and Team Dark came across the cave while tracking the source of a unique energy signature. Descending into the caves depth's, the group entered Westside Island's very own Hidden Palace Zone. (SU: 87)
