Moebian

Moebians are a species of anthropomorphic animals hailing from Moebius. They are the Reverse Universe's counterparts to the mobians from the Prime Zone. Unlike their mostly good-nature counterparts, moebians are a generally villainous race who has essentially overrun their world with anarchy.

History[]

Sonic Origins[]

Roughly ten years ago, the moebians embraced a period of peace and prosperity known as the Great Peace. However, after years of peace, Anti-Mobius began to stagnate and everything fell apart. That was went Anti-Sonic and Anti-Sally made their move to seize power. Together, they banished their king to the Zone of Silence and took control of Mobotropolis. They and the Anti-Freedom Fighters proceeded to bring chaos throughout their kingdom. (StH: #192, SSS: #10, CSE)

Dr. Ivo Robotnik's Tyranny[]

Around 3235, the Anti-Freedom Fighters actively opposed acts of freedom while seeking to topple Anti-Robotnik and his clinic for healing moebians. One day though, Anti-Sonic ran into Sonic Prime when the latter accidentally came to Anti-Moebius. Kept from returning home by Anti-Sonic, Sonic lured his counterpart to Anti-Robotnik's clinic where Anti-Sonic was captured, thus allowing Sonic to go back to the Prime Zone. (StH: #11)

Appearance[]

Like their Prime Zone counterparts, moebians vary-often drastically-in their physical traits from race to race. While most moebians are around three feet tall, some members are much taller. Some moebians also resemble the Earth's prehistoric animal species while others - notably hedgehogs and echidnas - bear little resemblance to their ancient Prime Zone counterparts.

Culture[]

As a species from the dark world of Moebius, a twisted reflection of Mobius Prime, the moebians are very much the antitheses of mobians. Instead of being innately merciful and generous, moebians are generally selfish and terrible people; rather than standing as a mostly united front against a single great evil threatening the world, moebians are self-serving and barely protect anything; where there is bravery and righteousness to be found among most mobians, moebians are essentially cowards who promote anarchy, and so on. Despite the innate dark traits of moebians, not all of them are bad to the bone. O'Nux, for example, is pacifist who sees no need for violence and Buns Rabbot would seemingly turn over a new leaf after being left for death by the Suppression Squad and rescued by Dr. Ivo Kintobor. (StH: #44, #193)
