The Metal Sonic Series are a group of Badniks produced by both Dr. Ivo Robotnik and Dr. Eggman in order to give themselves a robotic version of Sonic the Hedgehog, whom these robots are primarily designed to contend with.
History[]
Dr. Ivo Robotnik's Tyranny[]
The precursor to the Metal Sonic Series was Pseudo-Sonic. Created by Dr. Ivo Robotnik with all the data the doctor had on Sonic the Hedgehog, this Badnik managed to find and infiltrate Freedom HQ. Before it could reveal the location of Knothole Village to Robotnik though, it got short-circuited by Tails. Its still-active remains were then analyzed by Rotor before getting thrown out with the trash. (StH: #9, CSE)
Background Information[]
- The Archie Comics are the first branch of the Sonic franchise to give the robotic duplicates of Sonic an actual designation.
