Madonna Garnet is an agent of G.U.N.'s C.L.I.P. Division charged with conducting.
History[]
One of Madonna's assignments involved interviewing Dr. Julian Snively regarding his history with G.U.N. on the orders of Abraham Tower. After listening to his account regarding his previous history with Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik, Walter Naugus, the Kingdom of Acorn, and Angel Island, she found herself in the unusual position of being unable to tell whether or not he was lying about anything. - Madonna is based on a scrapped character created for the original Sonic the Hedgehog game from 1991, similar to Mach the Rabbit, Max the Monkey, and Sharps the Chicken. She was intended as a love interest for Sonic, but was cut from the game.
- Madonna's surname in the comic is similar to that of Mary Garnet, a fictional character mentioned in the Sonic the Hedgehog Technical Files, which served as a supposed origin story for the conceptualization of Sonic. The fact that her surname is that of a gemstone coupled with her status as a G.U.N. agent also makes her similar to the Sonic X character Topaz.
