The Knothole News was a newspaper published in Knothole, which provided its citizens with various details of the goings-on on Mobius. One of its most popular features was a write-in column maintained by Sally Acorn under the alias Aly. "Dear Aly" was an opportunity for the people of Knothole-though young women were the most common contributors-to write in about their romantic problems. (StH: #144)
