Background Information

• The House of Hedgehog was the first-and thus far only-televised instance of an immediate family being introduced for Sonic. Previously, the Sonic the Hedgehog animated series had introduced Uncle Chuck, while the Sonic the Hedgehog manga series had featured Sonic's alter ego as having a sister and both parents.
  • Queen Aleena's husband - the father of Sonic, Sonia, and Manic - was never touched upon in the animated series. Some fans have suspected him to be either Jules Hedgehog and/or deceased, but this is only mere speculation.
