Espio the Chameleon (Another Time, Another Place) is a version of Espio from the Another Time, Another Place reality.

Twice Captured[]
As one of Sonic the Hedgehog's friends and allies, Espio attended his birthday party in the Green Hill Zone with his teammates Vector the Crocodile and Charmy Bee. With the other guests, however, he was then dispatched through one of several mysterious portals by the monstrous Time Eater. Escaping that encounter unscathed, he and his fellow Chaotix joined their friends again for the Olympics. The trio were in a boat, taking part in the rowing event, when their vessel turned into a prison, courtesy of Dr. Eggman. Sonic's other friends and allies soon followed, but Sonic was able to save them by tapping into the spirit of the Olympics. (StH: #230, #242)
