The Egg Wrecker is a modified version of the early Egg Mobile that was used by Dr. Ivo Robotnik. Its main feature is a wrecking ball for an armament.
History[]
Dr. Ivo Robotnik's Tyranny[]
In 3235, Dr. Ivo Robotnik used the Egg Wrecker to launch a personal attack on the Knothole Freedom Fighters with the aid of Buzzbomber when the heroes were out in the open. As he began his attack though, Sonic goaded him into targeting him alone with the Egg Wrecker. When Robotnik finally thought he had Sonic where he wanted him though, Sonic got a hold of a Power Ring, which empowered him enough to knock the Egg Wrecker's wrecking ball back at the vehicle, destroying it. When Sonic later got lured to the edge of a cliff by his Badniks, Robotnik used a repaired Egg Wrecker to knock Sonic off the cliff, although it failed to kill him. (OSM: #3)
Geoffrey's Betrayal and the Death Egg's Return[]

In the reality created during Operation: Clean Sweep, the Egg Wrecker was piloted by Snively while he finished capturing Mobini and Mobians. When Sonic intervened though, he revealed the Egg Wrecker's wrecking ball and engaged Sonic, who made short work of the aircraft by destroying its chain attachment and made Snively retreat in the still functioning aircraft. Design[]
The Egg Wrecker is a hovercraft designed to carry a single person. It has a spherical design with an overall bare metal paint scheme with black on the bottom third of the craft, with a lateral band of black and yellow hazard stripes and a yellow headlight on the front. Lastly, it has a checkered sphere attached to it by a chain on its bottom.
Abilities[]
In addition to being capable of flight, the Egg Wrecker is equipped with a Checker Wrecking Ball on its bottom via a chain, which it can easily throw around with enough force to snap a tree in one hit and smash rock. (OSM: #0, #3)
Background Information[]
- The Egg Wrecker is based on the first boss that appeared in the original Sonic the Hedgehog video game for the Sega Genesis console. It was unnamed in the comic, but is considered tier 2 canon by this site's canon policy, as it does not contradict already established canon from tier 1.
