The Egg Jet was a high-speed shuttle craft built by Dr. Eggman and stored in the hangar of the Death Egg.
History[]
Early Usage[]
The Egg Jet was used when Dr. Eggman escaped from Wing Fortress to the Death Egg after he failed to defeat Sonic the Hedgehog in the Wing Fortress' cockpit room. While Sonic missed the Egg Jet, Tails returned with an enhanced Tornado, and they chased after it. After a while, Sonic managed to grab onto the Egg Jet's side and rode it to the Death Egg where it docked. Since the Egg Jet has not been seen since then, it is possible it was destroyed when the Death Egg crashed on Angel Island or when the Death Egg was completely blown up. (VG: StH2)
Background Information[]
- The Egg Jet is based off of the escape craft Eggman uses to reach the Death Egg in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for the Sega Genesis.
