The Chaos Emeralds are a set of magical gemstones in the Sonic X Zone that are coveted by various powers, often leading to conflict between Dr. Eggman and Sonic the Hedgehog.

History

their first appearance is in the first issue, in an image in the base setting, Rouge is seen holding a red Emerald, probably one of the seven Chaos Emeralds
