The Babble Node is a translating device that was aptly named by Sonic. After his adventure on Thoraxia, an alien race known as the D'Novulans implated this device into his brain. Not only was this device was able to translate alien languages for Sonic, it also enabled him to understand the speaking of normal (non-mobian) animals. StH: #127)
