The Azure Lake Zone is one of the many varied regions of Angel Island.

History

Following a disagreement between Knuckles the Echidna and Shadow the Hedgehog as to whether the Master Emerald should be relocated to keep it safe from the threat of Eclipse the Darkling, the pair ended up here in the course of their battle over the issue. (SU: #69)

Background Information

• The Azure Lake Oasis is based off of the Azure Lake two-player racing stage from Sonic the Hedgehog 3. However, the Azure Lake in the game was more of a typical Green Hill Zone-type stage.
