Summary[]

Story One[]

"Night of a Thousand Sonics" - Part One

Sonic and the Freedom Fighters witness a portal to the Cosmic Interstate open up in front of them. A cyborg version of Sonic pops out and starts to attack before realizing the Freedom Fighters aren't his enemies. This Cyborg Sonic explains that he is from an alternate universe and has come to seek their help.

He explains that, in his world, Dr. Robotnik turned the Freedom Fighters into cyborgs in an attempt to defeat them. However, this transformation actually gave the Freedom Fighters the upper hand in battle, so Robotnik decided to roboticize himself in order to fight back. This turned the tide in Robo-Robotnik's favor, and the resistance was defeated. Cyborg Sonic managed to escape, and fled to the Cosmic Interstate to search for help. Sonic agrees to help and uses the Cosmic Interstate to gather other versions of himself from their various Zones in order to help fight Robo-Robotnik. While the various Sonics are preparing for battle, Robo-Robotnik's army invades Mobius.

"Night of a Thousand Sonics" - Part Two

Robotnik watches as Robo-Robtnik lays siege to the Sonics of the multiverse. He decides, since he should be the only one to rule the multiverse, to deploy his SWATbots to fight Robo-Robotnik's Shadowbots. With the Shadowbots destroyed, Robotnik calls a truce with the Sonics to defeat their common enemy. Calling everyone to a meeting, Robotnik surmises that Robo-Robotnik must be after the Giant's Hand that rests within the Neutral Zone. He sends the Sonics out to retrieve it, hoping that he'll be able to take the Giant's Hand from the Sonics and use it for himself. coinciding with the Cosmic Interstate. Meanwhile, Robo-Robotnik unleashes Evil Sonic from Anti-Mobius and recruits him to his cause.

"Night of a Thousand Sonics" - Part Three

The Sonics arrive in the Neutral Zone and locate the Giant's Hand. However, just as the grab it, Evil Sonic nabs it from them. With an army of Shadowbots on his side, Evil Sonic does battle with the other Sonics, claiming that he's fighting for Robo-Robotnik so he can be the only Sonic in the multiverse. While they fight, the Hand is teleported to Robo-Robotnik, who then uses it's true function to unleash the Giant Borg Battle Suit.

"Night of a Thousand Sonics" - Part Four

Robo-Robotnik rampages through Mobius Prime in his Giant Borg Battle Suit. The various Sonics start bickering about who to blame until Sally interjects, saying that if they work together they can take it down. The Sonics try to bum rush the Borg, but are easily brushed aside. As Robo-Robotnik prepares to stomp on them, the Sonics dog pile him, knocking him off balance and breaking apart the battle suit. Robo-Robotnik is destroyed, and Cyborg Sonic swipes his head and returns to his home zone. The various Sonics each take a piece of the Borg home with them so it can never be reassembled.
